FAQ
How the free check and the workspace work, what they cannot do, and what happens to your files. If your question is not here, write to us.
One PDF, no account.
Yes. Upload one tender PDF, up to about 8 MB, and get a snapshot. No account and no payment.
Link to this answerA summary, the key dates, EMD and tender value, eligibility highlights, the documents to submit, a pre-bid checklist, risks, technical and financial requirements, and a one-sentence first read on whether to bid. The lists are shorter than in the workspace.
Link to this answerThe source line for each key value and the Not confirmed flags, corrections, the participation score, eligibility checked against your company profile, a bid recommendation, documents to submit marked against what you hold, annexure drafts as Word files, pre-bid questions and email drafts, questions about the tender's clauses, re-runs, reminder emails, and Excel and PDF export. Up to five PDFs go into one tender.
Link to this answerYes. To keep the service running, the free check has a daily limit for each visitor and an overall daily limit. If you see that the daily limit is reached, try again the next day.
Link to this answerThe usual reasons: it is not a PDF, it is over the size limit, it is damaged, or it does not look like a tender, RFP or NIT. Try the original download from the portal. If you think it is a real tender and it was refused, tell us on the Feedback page.
Link to this answerHow much to rely on what you see.
Check them. AI models read your documents and can misread a clause, especially in poor scans. In the workspace each key value shows the line it came from, values without a supporting line are marked Not confirmed, and you can correct any value. Tenderlytix is not legal or bid advice; you stay responsible for your submission.
Link to this answerThe line from the tender that a value was read from, for example “EMD Amount 2250000” next to an EMD of ₹22,50,000. It is shown only when that line is really found in your document. The page number is not shown, so use the line to search the PDF.
Link to this answerNo line in your documents states that value, so Tenderlytix does not guess. Open the tender and check it. For example, a GeM bid document may refer to an estimated bid value without ever stating one.
Link to this answerIn the workspace, correct it. Your correction is what the deadline and the score use from then on. Then tell us on the Feedback page which portal it was and what you expected, so we can fix the cause.
Link to this answerNo. Tenderlytix helps you read and organise tender documents faster. The participation score and the bid recommendation are starting points for your judgement. You remain responsible for compliance, pricing and the submission itself.
Link to this answerNo. You download the tender PDF from the portal and upload it. Tenderlytix does not log in to GeM, CPPP or any state portal, does not submit or sign a bid, and does not upload anything for you.
Link to this answerWhat you can upload and how much is read.
Government and PSU tenders from GeM, CPPP and state e-procurement portals: NITs, RFPs, GeM bid documents and corrigenda. You upload the PDF; Tenderlytix does not connect to the portals. Scanned PDFs are read with text recognition.
Link to this answerOnly PDFs. The free check takes one PDF of up to about 8 MB. In the workspace you can add up to five PDFs in one upload, each up to about 25 MB. Over its life one tender can hold up to ten documents, counting the ones you add later.
Link to this answerIn the workspace, yes. Add the GeM bid, the RFP, annexures and corrigenda that belong together to one tender, and they are read as one bundle. The free check reads one file.
Link to this answerYes. When a PDF has almost no selectable text, its pages are read with text recognition (OCR). Only a limited number of pages of each scanned file are read, and the result tells you when a file was cut short. A poor scan can still come out wrong, so check the source lines on the values that matter.
Link to this answerIf a very long tender is cut short, the result says which file and how much of it was read, so nothing is skipped silently. The free check reads only the first part of a long file; the workspace shares its reading limit across the files in a bundle.
Link to this answerWhen the tender changes after you uploaded it.
Open the tender in the workspace, add the corrigendum or the pre-bid reply, and re-run. You see what changed, and the deadline follows the new document.
Link to this answerNo. A re-run does not use a free tender or a credit, whether you add a document, re-read the files or update your company profile first. There is an hourly limit on re-runs so that a stuck loop cannot use up the AI budget.
Link to this answerNot by themselves. Re-run the tender and its eligibility check, participation score and bid recommendation are worked out again against your new details.
Link to this answerForms to fill and proofs to attach.
Word files of the forms and annexures that the tender itself includes, filled with your company details and your authorised signatory. They are drafts: check every line, and put them on your letterhead before you sign. A form that the tender only mentions, without including it, cannot be drafted.
Link to this answerYes. The first draft of each annexure is free to generate. You can regenerate it a limited number of times, for example after you correct your company details; a draft that fails does not count.
Link to this answerIn your company profile you tick the proofs you keep ready, such as PAN, GST, Udyam, audited balance sheets and solvency certificate, and list your past projects. Nothing is uploaded. Each tender's list of documents to submit is then marked as held or missing.
Link to this answerEmails before the bid end date.
About a week before the bid end date, three days before, the day before and on the day. Days are counted in India time. The email goes to the person who uploaded the tender, for tenders that have finished analysis and have a bid end date. A tender uploaded in the last day waits until the next day, since you are looking at it. If a corrigendum moves the bid end date, the reminders move with it: the new date gets its own set.
Link to this answerYes, with the switch in your settings, or with the unsubscribe link in the email.
Link to this answerNo. A reminder is a nudge, not a guarantee: an email can be late or land in spam. Confirm the bid end date on the portal before you submit.
Link to this answerAccounts, company details and who sees what.
It is opening by invite to a few tender consultants and GeM sellers at a time. Leave your email below and we will send you one.
Link to this answerNot for the free check. The workspace opens by invite, one email when yours is ready.
Link to this answerTo check a tender against you rather than in general: turnover, cash for EMD, certifications, past project values, MSE status and the preferred project length feed the eligibility check, the participation score and the annexure drafts. You can leave fields empty; the checks that need them then say they cannot tell.
Link to this answerA workspace is an organisation: its tenders and company profile belong to the organisation, so teammates in it see the same tenders. Reminder emails go to whoever uploaded the tender.
Link to this answerWhat happens to your files, and how to reach us.
The free check reads your PDF in memory and does not save the file or its text. In the workspace your files, the extracted text and any annexure drafts are stored with your workspace so you can come back to them. The Privacy page explains how uploads and logs are handled.
Link to this answerTo read a tender, its text (and page images, for scans) is sent to an AI provider, OpenAI. Other services handle sign-in, hosting, storage and email. The Privacy page lists them.
Link to this answerNo. Tenderlytix does not train its own models. Your documents are used to produce your analysis.
Link to this answerYes. Deleting a tender in the workspace removes the tender, its analysis and its stored files. It does not give back a free-allowance slot.
Link to this answerWrite to privacy@tenderlytix.com from the email you signed up with and tell us what to delete. We handle it by hand.
Link to this answerEmail support@tenderlytix.com or use the Contact page. For a wrong value or a missed clause, the Feedback page is the fastest route to the people who fix it.
Link to this answerNo question matches that. Try another word, or write to us.
